Software Tester / Quality Assurance

(£18-£30k depending on experience)

Are you looking for a role where you can really make a difference?

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Software Tester / QA to join our established development team in Bournemouth.

At Nourish, we are focused on improving the quality of life for people in care and reducing the pressure on NHS Hospitals that are at breaking point. We provide a digital solution to the healthcare sector that enhances the process of recording, analysing and sharing information. The Healthcare sector is relatively new to digital transformation and thus opportunities for technology to have real impact are vast.

As an employer, we offer all of the support and development our employees need to grow their skills and expertise; we foster a culture of collaboration and contribution; and we hold monthly social events.

What we’re looking for is an individual with passion and drive to continually learn and develop and to contribute to our development team. At Nourish we pride ourselves on good quality software for the care industry. In order to keep our software at the top of its game for care teams around the UK, we have to put our software through its paces before we release it to our customers.

An agile development team based in Bournemouth, we manage our own native mobile app, web and analytics platform. Working on several releases every two-week sprint, we employ both automatic and manual testing to ensure that what we push out works as intended. Working on several initiatives at any one time, our team has to work collaboratively and efficiently to keep up with the developing needs of our clients. This means no two days in the office are ever the same.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • The ability to solve problems at different levels
  • A strong level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • A good understanding of technologies
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

The role is not just about testing software…

As a part of our team, you will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle and will be key in helping to provide feedback and areas of improvement; we are looking to prevent bugs and problems before the developers have even started to code. You will be working across many aspects of our company, from customer support and sales to development and product teams.

We are also always looking to enhance our automation testing and this role may evolve to include writing some of these automation tests.

*Please Note: This role requires you to be on site in our Bournemouth office, so please no remote workers. We are also not currently looking for a recruiter to help us with this position
